The Executive Producer is responsible for acquiring commercial projects as well as overseeing the workflow of the projects through the facility. They take a lead role in developing existing client relationships and actively exploring new business opportunities, ensuring they are consistently meeting annual sales objectives. They manage and mentor our commercial producers, possess strong networking and leadership skills and have a knack for creative problem solving. A passion for sales is a must!

Responsibilities:

- Nurture and maintain current client relationships while continually exploring new opportunities
- Develop an annual sales strategy
- Update accounting regularly on status of invoicing and payments
- Work closely with the Head of Post Production to ensure workflow in the facility is following the established sequence and is on track to meet forecasted delivery dates
- Ensure all es are accurate, fair and error free prior to submission to clients
- Act as a liaison with the client throughout the life of the project, communicating any modifications to the project team on a timely basis, proactively communicating any potential overages and promoting ongoing relationships
- Work with internal office team (client services) to communicate expectations are met for all in person client sessions
- Provide relevant content and updates for company social media channels as well as granting approvals on content when necessary
- Provide training, feedback and guidance to producers ensuring continued growth and development of the team
- Foster the development of creative talent within the commercial department internally ensuring that they are feeling supported and fulfilled. Also maintaining an eye externally of any up and coming artists that may be a good fit for our studio either on staff or freelance.

Requirements:

- Advanced knowledge and understanding of post-production workflows
- Previous sales experience
- Strong negotiation skills and a sales driven mindset
- Ability to handle a fast paced environment supervising multiple projects in various points of production (from development through delivery)

The Role

Bilingual Artistic Producer is a key team member responsible for planning, organizing and executing tasks and events. This is a leadership position for a highly organized, driven self starter who can work under tight deadlines and in a high pressure environment.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Assisting guest artists working in a bilingual setting on a number of projects (Bridges Puppetry Festival, Summer Ensemble, Playdate, Mirror)
• Project planning and execution (with supervision and mentorship)
• Act as an ambassador of bilingualism by developing and fostering ties with Francophone community in Ontario
• Marketing and social media campaigns creation and execution in French (translation of copy, writing new copy)
• Fundraising with supervision and mentorship (learning about grants specifically for Francophone community and outreach to French businesses)

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Be available to work online and in person at our theatre (3650 Dixie Rd, Mississauga, ON L4Y 3V9) and studio (2359 Royal Windsor Drive Unit 210, Mississauga, ON L5J 4S9).
• Be available for all dates and hours stated in contract.
• Be bilingual (speaking, writing, reading intermediate French and English)
• Be up to 30 years of age

Education and Experience:

Post-secondary education and/or work experience in arts administration, non-profit management, fundraising, producing, business or equivalent, preferably with additional knowledge or experience in theatre or the performing arts

Blackbird Interactive is seeking a Producer to support feature delivery for Minecraft Legends. You will work with a talented team, help identify their needs, and move them from the earliest days of concept and prototypes into the full production and release.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain schedules for game features and assets
• Establish and assign tasks from game goals, and own the daily project management
• Manage resource requirements, establish dependencies and balance priorities
• Partner with technical and creative leadership to ensure project vision, deliverables and goals are clear

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a producer/project manager capacity
