Clinical Research of Ontario (CRON) is a privately-owned clinical research site dedicated to providing robust services for high-quality, patient-centric clinical studies. Job Description:

We are urgently seeking a Dermatologist or an allergist who will work as a Principal Investigators to oversee the conduct of the trials at our site.

· The best applicants must be board-certified Dermatologist or Allergist in Ontario;

· Ensure and protect the patient’s rights, safety and walfare of research subject;

· Maintain strict confidentiality of patients, employees, and company information at all times and adheres to Pipeda Guidelines;

· Be thoroughly familiar with the protocol, case report form, informed consent, source documentation, patient diary (when applicable), and study medication(s) for the assigned research study;

· Adhere to GCP, ICH, Pipeda, NIH, FDA/Health Canada's Food and Drugs Regulations and SOPs, and maintain ongoing regulatory documents;

· Assist and participate in study recruitment to ensure enrollment goals are met or exceeded;

· Direct and guide Research Staff on study specific tasks;

· Utilize and ensure the appropriate equipment is on-site;

· Perform appropriate research protocol procedures which may include, but are not limited to physical exams, medical history review and assessment, assessment of vital signs, laboratory results and adverse events;

· Work with the Site Director, Sub Investigator(s) and Study Coordinator to maintain high quality and patient safety;

· May perform other duties per assinged protocol requirements that are not specifically listed in this job description.

Qualifications:

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Dermatologist to join our team. The ideal candidate would be well versed in cosmetic procedures and medical aesthetics. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional client care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standards of medical treatment and client comfort.

Responsibilities:

- Assessing clients’ skin diseases, conditions, and ailments to determine appropriate treatment

- treating of skin conditions from start to finish, from the first consultation and diagnosis right through the treatment plan, reviewing progress and adjusting as necessary

- Perform skin cancer screenings

- Prescribing medication and creating treatment plans

- updating clients’ medical notes and history in the computer system

- Informing and educating clients on available treatments and preventative skincare

- Referring clients to other specialists as needed

- Keeping up to date with new medical procedures, topics, and scientific studies by attending seminars, conferences, and training programs

- Adhering to infection-control policies and protocols to protect clients and employees

Patient Care and Communication:

- Experienced with performing the following services: allergy education, allergy skin tests, botox injections, chemical peel, conscious sedation, cosmetic surgery, dermabrasion, dermal (soft tissue) fillers, dermatologic surgery, facial fillers for wrinkles, laser hair removal, laser resurfacing, light therapy for skin, mole removal, tattoo removal, skin cyst removal, platelet-rich plasma injections, scar revision, sclerotherapy and UV light therapy

Role Overview
