Service Canada is looking to staff a Junior Data Analyst at EC-02 level within the Strategic Analysis and Reporting Unit of Quality Services Division. A term/casual position to start in fall 2022.

The ideal candidate would have skills and experience in manipulating and extracting data from various data sources, programming (SAS, R, SQL, Excel VBA), reporting, as well as good communication skills.

Responsibilities

The candidate will support PO and Business translator, in managing the backlog, organizing stories manage release plans based on business priorities.

Responsibilities:

· Maintain the product backlog: Use functional decomposition to create a well-organized, value-driven framework. Document problem statement.

General Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director Strategic Initiatives, the Data Analyst is responsible for leveraging the organization’s data assets and providing in-depth data analysis to help build an evidence base to enhance strategic decision-making at CSP. The Data Analyst understands internal and relevant external data and data sources, information flows, user requirements, and provides detailed reporting via summary reports, interactive dashboards, and effective visualizations. Specific Duties
