What does a Care Worker do?

A Care Worker provides direct care to patients and helps them manage their daily activities. They may work with children, people with disabilities, or elderly individuals in healthcare facilities, private residences, or nursing homes. Care Workers monitor their patients’ vital signs, deliver meals, feed patients, and provide transportation. They also provide essential companionship and emotional support to prevent patients from feeling isolated. They often collaborate with other Caregivers such as Doctors, Nurses, Resident Companions, and Nurses Aides. Position Responsibilities
