They will prepare rental properties for presentation and take prospective tenants on tours highlighting all the amenities the rental has to offer. A Leasing Agent is also responsible for organizing application documents and collecting all necessary payments such as security deposits.

In terms of formal education, a diploma or a GED will usually suffice for a Leasing Agent candidate.
