In this role you will serve as the technical lead for our custom PCB and FGPA based designs and work closely with the software team on our automated welding control systems. RRC is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to be responsible for all engineering and technical disciplines for utility scale solar and wind generation projects in our Tualatin, OR office. The chosen candidate will schedule, plan, forecast, resource, and manage technical activities for project accuracy and quality from conception to completion.

Essential Responsibilities

Work with team to design medium voltage systems including switchgear, distribution systems, PV plants and wind projects

Work with team to review or perform system studies such as load flow, short circuit analysis, grounding, protective device coordination, and arc flash

Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor engineering projects

Interact daily with clients to interpret their needs and requirements

Perform quality control and quality checking on project deliverables, including drawings and studies

What You�ll Do

Gyptech is seeking an Electrical Engineer to research and design control panels & automated control systems within the Electrical Hardware Design team. Your role will involve:

Participating in kick off meetings to determine project scope, requirements, deliverables, budget, costing and schedules

Working with the Mechanical Design team to confirm design details

Researching and analyzing requirements and technical specifications to satisfy end-user requirements

Developing the equipment motor lists (e.g. room designation, loading, single line diagrams, VFD sizing, detailed electrical calculations, etc.) and device lists

Producing design documents, schematics, and process control diagrams

Designing and developing drive panels & PLC control panels that meet customer specifications

Providing onsite installation, troubleshooting, debugging, commissioning and maintenance support for systems in the field.

What You Offer

Development and design of the power distribution and transmission systems (HV/MV/LV), including single line diagrams, three-line diagrams, AC/DC schematics and communication systems

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience directly related to Power System Studies

Electrical engineering degree or other applicable certification

Excellent knowledge of power distribution, switchgear, generation and substations

Proficient in ACAD Electrical. Knowledge of ACAD 3D ideal.

Proficient with using SKM or ETAP engineering software.

Proventus Global is searching for an Electrical Engineer to lead projects within our Engineering and Design team. This role is responsible for the creation, development, and oversight of projects within the DC Products space which includes DC Microgrids and EV DC Fast Chargers. It includes developing RFP submissions, engineering drawings, certification, specification documents, consulting with third party engineering partners, project planning, budgeting, document tracking, communicating technical solutions through varies media, and working with various project stakeholders.
