Deveraux Apartment Communities has been a comprehensive, professional property management firm since 2011. It presently manages over 6100 multi-family apartment units in Regina, Moose Jaw, Winnipeg, Edmonton, and Calgary. As a Facilities Technician you will report directly to the Facilities Manager. The Facilities Technician will be responsible for all maintenance and technical duties at assigned properties. The ultimate objectives of this position are to maintain and enhance the mechanical infrastructure of all properties, provide quality service, and offer an enjoyable living experience for residents.

You will...
- Provide comfortable, clean and well-maintained facilities for residents to enjoy
- Maintain structural integrity of building by completing minor repairs
- Plumbing
- Heating/Cooling
- Electrical
- Appliances
- Interior finishes - drywall, paint, flooring, etc.
- Building exterior
- Ensure vacant apartments are always in a state of “rent-readiness”, clean and fully prepared for move-in
- Ensure proper and accurate inventory management and equipment maintenance
- Flexible on-call hours required (including evenings and weekends)
- Address resident maintenance requests within 48 hours
- Plan and effectively communicate to residents’ timelines and actions should situations arise whereby resolution of maintenance issues take longer than 48 hours
- Vacant suite maintenance and touch ups as per established quality standards
- Preventative maintenance inspections and reporting
- Communicate with Management via Email (photos), phone and in person for updates regarding projects and daily operations
- Determine materials and equipment needed to complete project work
- Maintain a clean and organized workplace, including the maintenance shops and storage facilities
- Review and recommend all contractor requests for day to day operations
- Be available for questions, troubleshooting and assistance on repairs
- Any other tasks as assigned by the Facilities Manager
