Your direct manager will tell you face to face. Nothing ever good. Only the bad things and tell you to do better as this will affect your raise (if they decide to even give one) or status for future layoffa. It would be nice if they said, this is an area to grow, we got your back, you can do it and outline what they are looking for. Give you real examples of it going well from people you know. So you know who you can mentor from, run ideas by while you are growing. Support growth rather than beat you down, threaten and then leave you to fend for yourself. I want to be outstanding and loyal, only if you can support me in it.
