Full job description

As a Health & Safety Field Consultant you will be providing essential advice, support, and solutions to clients in Vancouver, BC and surrounding areas. As a consultant, you will offer field support and documentation as part of my client's Health & Safety Essentials service. The position requires working Monday to Friday, with regular hours from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Join us in making workplaces safer and healthier for all.

CRST/CRSP designation is required for this role or serious candidates writing the exam by October 2026.

Base salary + car allowance of $8400

Day-to-Day Duties and Responsibilities

  • Strong knowledge of British Columbia Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Proactively reaching out to clients to follow up regarding any advice, solutions, support or recommendations that are given
  • Performing client installation visits
  • Providing relevant and correct advice, support, solutions and recommendations to our clients in a professional, efficient and practical manner
  • Completing internal reports following client visits
  • Reading and analyzing a client's policies and other related documentation for the purposes of providing advice, support, solutions and/or recommendations

What you Bring to the Team

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • An ability to work independently, as well as a team player
  • Very strong time management and organizational skills
  • Experience in dealing with government enforcement agencies and other similar government bodies
  • A high level of computer literacy
  • Class 5 Driver's license

Education/Experience

  • A degree or diploma from an accredited college or university
  • CRST/CRSP Designation
  • Strong knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Legislation throughout Canada
  • A strong background in developing and implementing comprehensive health and safety programs such as, but not limited to, training, auditing, evaluating process risks, safe work procedures program management and managed systems approach
  • A minimum of 3-5 plus years of relevant work experience in health and safety
