Full job description

Wild Flour Pizza Co. is seeking a full-time Operations Manager to support and oversee operations across our restaurant locations in the Lower Mainland.

Location: 3050 Gladwin Rd, Abbotsford, BC, with regular travel between restaurant locations
Employment: Permanent, full-time
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: $85,000 per year
Language: English
Number of positions: 1

Responsibilities

  • Analyze budgets to boost and maintain restaurant profitability
  • Evaluate daily restaurant operations
  • Monitor revenues and labour costs
  • Monitor staff performance
  • Plan and organize daily operations
  • Recruit, supervise and train staff
  • Conduct employee performance reviews
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation
  • Lead and instruct employees
  • Address customer complaints and concerns
  • Supervise 5–10 employees across various areas of responsibility
  • Travel between Wild Flour Pizza Co. locations as required

Qualifications

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Food Safety Certificate
  • Experience with MS Excel and MS Office
  • Experience with point-of-sale systems
  • Strong leadership, organization and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Client-focused, dependable and reliable
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Willing and able to travel regularly between locations

Work Environment

This is an on-the-road position supporting various restaurant locations. Frequent travel is required. Travel expenses and mileage are paid by the employer.

The position involves a combination of sitting, standing and walking and requires strong attention to detail in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
