KATIE WALKER INTERIORS IS AN UPSCALE PROPERTY STAGING GROUP THAT SUPPORTS A SYMBIOTIC RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN STYLIST, REALTOR, AND HOMEOWNER.

We operate out of our 10,000 sq ft warehouse in South Etobicoke.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Our stylists are at the core of our signature designs. As part of this team, every day you will make decisions which bring the stagings to life using our extensive designer inventory.

We want to let you know that this is a physical job which involves plenty of movement and lifting of vases, lamps, accessories and art. Large items are handled by our skilled moving team. We provide all equipment and training but the job best suits someone who enjoys athletic activity.

Additionally, a successful stylist needs to be decisive & confident. A positive attitude is a must!

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Work with the team to prepare the staging design in our warehouse
  • Work with the team to execute the staging design plan on site
  • We prefer candidates who are fully G-licensed drivers and are confident driving our company van, as needed
  • Packing and unpacking accessories and art in/out of condos & houses.
  • Hanging Art & Placing Rugs
  • Preparing Beds
  • Styling Surfaces & Vignettes
  • Previous experience with home staging, or retail furniture store design is an asset
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to integrate successfully with co-workers, clients and service providers
  • Able to think quickly and execute on a timelines
  • Able to lift up to 30lbs

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Experience:

  • styling/staging: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person
