JobNOW HIRING: SKID STEER OPERATORS

Stonewood Landscaping | Ottawa, Ontario

Stonewood Landscaping is looking for reliable, experienced skid steer operators to join our winter snow removal team!

PAY: $35–$45 PER HOUR OR SALARY AVAILABLE FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate skid steers safely and efficiently to clear snow from commercial properties and parking lots.
  • Perform snow removal services according to assigned routes and schedules.
  • Use FollowSoft GPS software to track routes, service visits and completed work.
  • Inspect equipment before and after shifts and report maintenance issues.
  • Work safely around vehicles, pedestrians and other equipment.
  • Communicate with supervisors and report site conditions or service concerns.
  • Assist with other snow removal duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous skid steer operating experience required.
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable driving record preferred.
  • Knowledge of winter snow removal operations and equipment safety.
  • Ability to work outdoors in cold and challenging winter conditions.
  • Comfortable using GPS and smartphone applications.
  • Dependable, punctual and able to work independently.

IMPORTANT: WORKING HOURS

This is not a regular 9-to-5 job! We work when it snows.

Shifts may include overnight hours, early mornings, weekends and holidays, depending on weather conditions and snowfall. Flexibility and availability during snow events are essential.
