Primary Responsibilities:

• Identity new markets, new partnerships, new ways to reach existing markets, or new product or service offerings to better meet the needs of existing markets. You will be expected use these opportunities to bring in more revenue. Responsible for schedule of multiple projects by multiple sites; ensuring work is completed on time.
• Generate leads and cold calling prospective customers. Develop opportunities in target markets with support of marketing. Nurturing and developing relationships with key customer accounts. Attending face-to-face meetings with clients. Providing specialist advice on the products and/or services you’re selling
• Directs staff and sub-contractors by providing communication, coordination and follow-up to meet project goals; ensuring project scope of work and schedule are clearly defined and understood.
• Arranges kick-off meeting with client and subcontractors to review project and site.
• Provides instruction/coordination to contractors or other

contractors

• Coordinate training and compliance measures to ensure project procedures are followed.
• Identifies and secures necessary approvals for all changes in project scope, budget and/or schedule.
• Maintains ongoing communication with client, making adjustments as necessary to comply with client needs within contractual obligations, or adjust project deliverables to meet client and Optimum needs.
• Ensures all work and products are consistent with industry standards and in accordance with good industry practice and applicable codes, and in compliance with all pertinent legal codes and requirements.
• Surveys job sites with sales staff and clients as required.
• Communicates frequently with both office and field staff.
• Updates master project tracking sheet on an ongoing basis.
• Helps drive the company's environmental health and safety programs at the project level, driving a safety-oriented approach to work.
• Participates in regular staff meetings.

Qualifications:

• Skills & Qualifications: University Degree and/or College Diploma or certificate in Personnel Management, Business Management or Human Resources. Minimum of three to five years' experience as a manager in an operational setting combined with or in addition to working in the security industry or law enforcement preferred. Degree or diploma in security management, risk management or business continuity an asset. Security professional with proven management experience within the security industry, the public sector is an asset. Enthusiastic and committed approach with a track record of building strong, trusted base relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels Strong management and leadership skills together with excellent communication, influencing, negotiating and engagement skills Sound judgment and decision making skills, with a 'hands on' problem solving approach, able to remain calm under pressure and take control of incidents Experience with writing procedures, drafting reports, preparing business cases and compiling and adjusting duty rosters to meet shortfalls in staffing levels Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
