Wander The Resort is hiring serving staff to join our full season food and beverage team. If you are a hard-working professional and looking to work at a world-class Canadian resort, this is the job for you! Apply today.

Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive and personalized service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests.
  • Input orders into the POS (Point of Sale) system promptly and accurately.
  • Monitor and anticipate customer needs, refilling drinks and clearing empty plates as necessary.
  • Ensure the correct presentation of dishes and verify their accuracy before serving.
  • Understand the food and beverage menus intimately to be able to answer questions about menu items and make recommendations (including transparency of where food is procured from)
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues to coordinate the timing of food delivery.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including clearing and resetting tables.
  • Assist in restocking supplies and maintaining a tidy work environment.
  • Tend to the overall needs of guests while they are dining at the resort
  • Bar Service with experience

Qualifications

  • Smart Serve certificate required.
  • High school or GED equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years in service/hospitality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to clearly communicate with managers, kitchen and dining room employees, and guests.
  • Basic cocktail making experience a bonus.
  • Ability to bend, stand, and stoop for long periods of time, and work long hours in hot conditions

*Compensation is competitive and based on experience (tips will be in addition)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 40 per week
