- Assist with jurisdictional scans, market research, and trend analysis.
- Gather data and contribute to qualitative and quantitative analysis for internal and external reports.
- Support the development of policy recommendations by preparing background materials and summaries for review.
- Assist with stakeholder and member engagement, including preparing meeting materials, capturing feedback, and summarizing key discussion points.
- Participate in internal workgroups and support key projects or initiatives as assigned.
- Attend external committees, government tables, and working groups as required, with support and direction from senior team members.
- Help maintain organized records of policy files, research materials, meeting notes, and action items.

- Provide research, coordination, and administrative support across Enserva’s Health, Safety, and Transportation portfolios.
- Monitor provincial, federal, and independent regulatory developments relevant to assigned files.
- Conduct background research and analysis to support policy, regulatory, and advocacy work.
- Prepare briefing materials, summaries, internal documentation, and draft communications.
- Track key files, deadlines, deliverables, and action items to ensure timely follow-up.
- Coordinate council and committee meetings, including scheduling, logistics, agendas, meeting packages, minutes, and supporting documentation.
- Accurately capture technical discussions, decisions, next steps, and action items from meetings.
- Support stakeholder engagement by preparing materials and coordinating follow-up as needed.
- Identify how broader advocacy and regulatory developments may intersect with health, safety, and transportation files.
- Provide support on special projects, workshops, industry events, and member initiatives as required.
General

- Work collaboratively across teams and contribute to a positive, professional, and responsive work environment.
- Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Who You Are

You can take policy, regulatory, or technical material and summarize it in a way that is clear and useful. You are able to manage multiple priorities, keep track of deadlines and follow-up items, and work well with others across different teams.
You are interested in public policy, government relations, regulatory affairs, health and safety, transportation, and/or the energy services industry, and you are looking for an opportunity to continue building your knowledge and experience.
You will also bring:
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field, such as public policy, political science, government relations, public affairs, occupational health and safety, engineering, business, communications, or another related discipline.
- Approximately 1 to 3 years of related experience in policy, research, government relations, regulatory affairs, health and safety, transportation, energy, association work, or a related environment.

- A professional and collaborative approach when working with internal teams, members, stakeholders, and external partners.
- The ability to be resourceful, practical, and solutions-oriented when managing coordination or administrative challenges.
- Flexibility and the ability to adjust to changing priorities and organizational needs.
- A calm and professional approach under pressure, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
