Full job description

Position Summary

Northern Health is looking for an experienced, highly efficient, and self-directed Staffing Clerk V to support the Staffing Services department.

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, this position works closely with unit managers to provide a high level of staffing services to meet both short- and long-term staff scheduling needs. Using a computerized scheduling system performs related staffing functions following standard staffing guidelines.
Must include resume for consideration

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days, Evenings - 05:00 to 13:00, 13:00 to 21:00, Rotating

Qualifications
  • Grade 12.
  • Three (3) years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to deal with others effectively.
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
  • Ability to organize work.
  • Ability to operate related equipment.
  • Ability to type at 40 wpm.
