The meat ads often make for an abusive workload for cutters, and as if that weren't enough, the office creates a host of other products for the cutters to do as well. The boxed beef that comes from the warehouse became heavier - often up to 75 and 80 lbs. The meat cooler is used for storing overnight deliveries of HMR and Deli along with the fresh and processed meats. Needless to say, mornings are often not very pleasant. Not a great place to be a meat cutter.
