What would you suggest City of Brampton management do to prevent others from leaving?
Learn about employee recruitment & retention...stop posting so many casual part time - seasonal contract positions (especially in your parks & rec dept as this field needs more full time career opportunities). I do not understand the need for municipalities to give salaries above $60, 000 to their ft employees while their front line workers make $14/hr and are under contracts where the city has stipulated these roles as casual (0-up to 20 hrs per week; what is 0 hrs per week? that's not a job that is called volunteering!).
Originally jobs were 3 year terms. Ultimately became 4 year terms. Up until recently Councillor salaries were 1/3 tax free.
