- Utilize computer-assisted dispatch systems to accurately enter service request details and assign appropriate units, personnel, and medical escorts in accordance with operational requirements.
- Maintain clear and effective communication across the dispatch team and with DFO, ensuring real-time updates, coordination, and continuity of operations throughout each shift.
- Document and report operational activity including incidents, delays, specialized transfers, complaints, and crew transfer reviews, providing accurate documentation to the Leadership Team as required.
- Adhere to organizational policies and professional standards, including patient confidentiality, data protection, vulnerable persons procedures, health and safety responsibilities, ongoing professional development, and maintaining a clean and organized workstation.
Requirements

- Experience in a dispatch, customer service, or other related role with a demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with clinical staff, patients, crew members, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to remain calm, composed, and professional when responding to urgent situations, changing priorities, and challenging interactions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while fostering a respectful, inclusive, and positive workplace.
