Elysian Health is seeking a patient-focused and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to support our growing Diagnostic Imaging department at our Vancouver clinic. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced MOA who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and takes pride in creating a seamless patient experience from scheduling through to appointment completion.

Previous experience working in an imaging clinic is considered a strong asset.

What You'll Do

  • Welcome patients and provide a professional, friendly, and efficient front desk experience
  • Register patients, verify information, and maintain accurate electronic medical records
  • Schedule, confirm, and coordinate diagnostic imaging appointments
  • Answer patient inquiries by phone, email, and in person while providing exceptional customer service
  • Prepare patient documentation and ensure requisitions and supporting information are complete
  • Support imaging technologists and physicians with administrative coordination
  • Process billing and insurance documentation as required
  • Maintain patient confidentiality while ensuring accurate clinical documentation
  • Contribute to a clean, organized, and welcoming reception environment

Qualifications

  • Medical Office Assistant (MOA) Diploma or equivalent education and experience
  • Previous experience as a Medical Office Assistant in a healthcare setting is required
  • Previous experience working in an imaging clinic is considered a strong asset
  • Strong customer service and patient communication skills
  • Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and scheduling software
  • Excellent computer, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
  • Professional, reliable, and committed to maintaining patient confidentiality
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Knowledge of diagnostic imaging terminology and workflows is considered an asset
