We are hiring for a Pharmacy Manager at our Thickwood location in Fort McMurray, AB .

You will be responsible for:

  • Day-to-day Pharmacy Dispensary operations, receiving, preparation, packaging, dispensing, distribution and storage of drugs and pharmaceuticals.
  • Clinical responsibilities including but not limited to drug use evaluation, medication reviews, adaptations, injection administration, prescription and non-prescription counseling and recommendations.
  • Collaborating with other Health care professionals and Community partners.
  • Inventory management.
  • Team member scheduling, training, and management.
  • Identifying and mapping business strengths and patient needs.
  • Developing and implementation of business growth strategies and plans.
  • Enforcing policies and best practice protocols relating to pharmacy practice and drugs distribution.
  • Completing all licensee tasks as dictated by the College of Pharmacy in your province.
  • Following and enforcing Save-On-Foods’ SOPs.
  • Communicating with your Regional Pharmacy Manager to optimize efficiencies and workflow.

You Have:

  • A Canadian Pharmacist license and are in good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists.
  • Pharmacy management experience OR minimum 2 years as a Pharmacist.
  • Fluent with Opioid Agonist Treatment Compliance procedures.
  • Your Injection Certification.
