Full job description

CLINIC MANAGER - YALETOWN DENTISTRY

The person who makes everything work. The standard the whole team rises to.

A dental clinic is only as exceptional as the person who keeps it running. Behind every on-time appointment, every fully prepared operatory, every seamless patient interaction, and every motivated team member is a Clinic Manager who holds it all together with intention, care, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. At Yaletown Dentistry, that person is you.

We are a warm, patient-centered dental practice proudly serving Downtown Vancouver, located in the Yaletown District. We are looking for a Clinic Manager who does not just manage a space, but leads a culture, someone who understands that the best patient experiences are built on strong systems, accountable teams, and a leader who genuinely cares.

Why Yaletown Dentistry? Dentistry with heart.

Yaletown Dentistry was built on a simple but powerful belief: every patient deserves to feel genuinely cared for, not just treated. Too many people avoid the dental care they need because of anxiety, past experiences, or the feeling of being rushed through a system that does not see them as a person. We exist to be the exception to that.

Our clinic is thoughtfully designed, well-equipped, and staffed by a team of professionals who take pride in both their clinical excellence and the human connections they build with every patient who walks through our doors. We invest in our space, our technology, and our people because we know that the quality of the experience reflects the quality of the care.

But a great clinic does not run itself. It runs because of a great manager. Someone who sees the details others miss, follows through when it would be easier not to, and builds a team culture where accountability and kindness exist in equal measure. That is the role we are hiring for, and it is one of the most important positions in our entire practice.

The Opportunity

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinic, ensuring every system, schedule, and standard is functioning at the highest level
  • Lead, support, and develop a multidisciplinary team of dental professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Manage provider scheduling and chair utilization to optimize productivity and patient flow without sacrificing the quality of the patient experience
  • Serve as the operational bridge between the clinical team, administration, and ownership, ensuring clear communication and consistent follow-through across all departments
  • Track and report on key performance metrics including production, collections, patient retention, and team performance, translating data into meaningful action
  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and team development in partnership with ownership
  • Ensure the clinic meets all regulatory, compliance, and infection control standards, holding the team to protocols with consistency and care
  • Manage vendor relationships, supply ordering, equipment servicing, and facility maintenance with proactive attention and cost-consciousness
  • Champion the patient experience at every touchpoint, stepping in to resolve concerns, remove barriers, and reinforce the Yaletown standard
  • Build and maintain a team culture where every person feels valued, accountable, and proud of the work they do

What You Bring

  • Proven experience in dental clinic management or a senior dental administrative leadership role; multi-site experience is a strong asset
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, anticipate bottlenecks, and execute with precision and follow-through
  • A natural leader who earns trust by setting a clear example, communicating directly, and following through on every commitment
  • Experience with dental practice management software (Curve or Dentrix) and strong working knowledge of BC dental billing and insurance processes
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and develop team members, address performance issues constructively, and build a culture of shared accountability
  • High emotional intelligence and composure under pressure, a steady, grounding presence when the day gets complicated
  • A genuine belief in the mission of patient-centered care, and the operational discipline to make sure that mission is consistently delivered

What We Offer You

  • Full-time, permanent leadership role in a warm, well-established clinical environment in Vancouver, BC
  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience
  • Comprehensive extended health and dental benefits package
  • Performance bonuses tied to clinic growth and team achievement
  • On-site parking included
  • A leadership role with genuine autonomy, real responsibility, and direct input into the direction of the clinic
  • A genuine opportunity to shape the culture, the systems, and the standards of a practice deeply committed to doing things the right way
  • An ownership team that values transparency, invests in its people, and is deeply committed to building something exceptional

This role is for someone who wakes up motivated by the challenge of keeping something complex running beautifully. Someone who takes pride in a team that performs at its best. Someone who understands that accountability is not punitive, it is a form of respect, the expectation that you believe in people enough to hold them to a standard.

If you are the kind of leader who follows through, lifts others up, and never lets a detail fall through the cracks, Yaletown Dentistry is where you belong. We would love to meet you.
