What you'll do
In this role, you will:
- Enter and review medical billing claims with accuracy and efficiency
- Apply diagnostic and procedure codes while ensuring compliance with billing guidelines
- Process both electronic and paper claim submissions
- Review remittance advice to identify discrepancies, denials, or missing information
- Make corrections or adjustments to claims when required
- Support claim reconciliation activities to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation within billing systems
As you gain experience, you may take on additional responsibilities related to claim follow-up and reconciliation.

Your profile
This role is a great fit for someone who:
- Can manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Has strong verbal and written communication skills
- Is comfortable using computer tools and systems
- Works independently with a high level of organization and accountability
- Demonstrates professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information
- Has experience in the medical field, medical transcription, or medical administration (an asset)
