Responsibilities

As a Family Physician, you will provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages while practising evidence-based medicine in a professional setting.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing comprehensive family medicine across all age groups
• Performing medical assessments, examinations and preventive care
• Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic medical conditions
• Developing individualized treatment plans
• Prescribing medications and monitoring patient outcomes
• Maintaining accurate electronic medical records using TELUS Health Med Access
• Providing health promotion, preventive care and patient education
• Collaborating with specialists and allied healthcare professionals
• Participating in ongoing professional development
