Driver (Full Time)

We are looking for a Driver who specializes in transporting equipment, supplies, and products to and from aircraft and other locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery while adhering to operational and safety standards and who is eager to work in a fast paced, high pressure work environment. Job Description

Driver is responsible for transporting equipment, supplies, and products to and from aircraft and other locations, loading/unloading items per flight specifications, completing vehicle inspections and reports, ensuring vehicle cleanliness, and performing tasks safely while adhering to operational standards and priorities.

  • Wage Rate: $24.73 per hour, 40 hours per week
  • Reporting to: Transportation and Service Rep Supervisor
  • Schedule: Rotational Monday to Sunday, flexible shift times
  • Seniority: After 90 working shifts

Job Duties:

Ideal candidate will be required to perform varied duties as assigned and may include, but not limited to -

  • Co-ordinate with Flight Coordinator/CSR to receive confirmation that all equipment needed for the assigned flight has been sealed and ready for pick up.
  • Deliver company products and equipment to and from warehouse, cargo facilities, aircraft or other locations as required using hi-lift vehicles.
  • Load and offload carts, trollies, equipment and supplies onto and off aircrafts as per flight specifications.
  • Place delivered items into correct cabins and belly stowage locations.
  • Guide drivers into and out of aircraft galley door and belly locations as required.
  • Monitor aircraft registration, arrival and departure times to prioritize work assignments.
  • Complete all driver reports and associated forms on a daily basis.
  • Complete daily vehicle safety inspections. Report any defects on hi-lift vehicles to the Transportation/Operations Supervisor.
  • Perform bagging and storing of wet ice cubes.
  • Refuel company vehicles as required
  • Perform all tasks in a safe and hygienic manner.
  • Maintain regular housekeeping for all vehicles.

Skills and Abilities Required:

· Good command of English language and ability to read and understand instructions

· Valid Class DZ driver license

· 1 Year truck driving experience letter from auto insurance

· Ability to work in temperature-controlled environments for duration of shift

· Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

· GTA RAIC PASS & AVOP (Airside Vehicle Operator’s Permit)
