As a member of the Service team and as a new Glass Canada family member, you will join a diverse, dynamic group of highly motivated individuals that bring with them a wide array of talents, skills, and backgrounds.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Generate and follow-up on sales leads by expertly managing incoming customer inquiries, demonstrating product knowledge
  • Deliver exceptional in-person customer service by consulting with showroom visitors, identifying their needs and recommending tailored product or service solutions
  • Handle all communication via email and incoming calls professionally to assist customers, answer inquiries, and support ongoing sales efforts.
  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with customers, exemplifying professionalism and expertise
  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of Glass Canada’s products and services, providing detailed insights and recommendations
  • Provide accurate and customized quotes, offering expert guidance to assist customers in selecting products
  • Collaborate with the Technical Manager to verify measurements, ensuring accurate quoting and a seamless project setup
  • Work closely with the Installation Technicians to ensure smooth execution of projects by regularly communicating all necessary details
  • Communicate with Warehouse team to ensure correct product is ordered and ready for installation
  • Demonstrate accountability by taking ownership of customer issues, showcasing effective problem-solving strategies to maintain satisfaction
  • Take ownership when customers experience a problem and take the appropriate steps to resolve any issues
  • Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initial quotes and take-offs to successful completion, ensuring efficiency and excellence at every stage

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service or retail sales required
  • Experience in the glass or glazing industry, building materials, or the home improvement industry preferred
  • Experience with Railings / Glass Railings and Custom Showers considered a strong asset
  • Results-driven and action-oriented, with a strong “get it done” attitude and a proven ability to follow through on priorities, solve problems, and deliver outcomes.
  • Solutions-focused and adaptable, with a positive approach to change and a commitment to supporting successful outcomes.
  • Proven ability to build customer rapport, demonstrate product expertise, and manage project details effectively
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills
  • Ability to multitask in a busy environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to details
  • Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across various departments to achieve common goals.
