Harassment. No protection from HR. It's not worth working their with all the stress they put you through. They make diversity sound so wonderful which it does on paper, but it does not exist which is misleading. I would wish my worst enemy to work at Scotiabank. Make no mistake - they don't care about customers or employees.

I left because I truly believe I was bullied at work. There were aggressive individuals on my team. the whole HR system is too cumbersome and is not helpful. I couldn't take any more.

In this fast-paced, agile environment where changes occur frequently, the bank definitely needs to provide better training to better focus on the customer. The integrity of the bank is negatively affected by numerous system issues and workarounds that occur on a daily basis, putting employees in stressful situations with customers. The annual objectives need to be more realistic and attainable, especially financial objectives.
