Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining cleanliness in the work area, and ensuring that every customer has a delightful experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages according to standard recipes.
  • The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic about experimenting with beverages and creating innovative variations, while strictly adhering to established food safety and quality standards.
  • Operate the POS system for processing transactions accurately.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, dining area, and equipment.
  • Assist with food preparation and serving as needed, adhering to food safety standards.
  • Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change.
  • Ensure compliance with food handling regulations and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation during peak hours.

Qualifications

  • Previous barista experience is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Touchbistro POS, is a plus.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations is essential.
