WHAT WE OFFER

We estimate the salary range for this position to be between $45,000 and $55,000 annually. Additionally, we offer extended health and dental benefits, Group RSP with employer matching, a generous bank of wellness days, and industry perks. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The successful candidate will cover the following duties and responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain an accurate aging report and reconcile A/R balance to G/L
  • Record payments to customer accounts, and follow up on any discrepancies
  • Assist in the collection of accounts through correspondence by telephone, e-mail, letters, and statements
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly accounts receivable reports, including but not limited to, receivable aging, cash receipts
  • Create credit memos as required
  • Customer account maintenance
  • Respond to customer inquiries over phone and email

REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to deal with delicate financial situations with tact and diplomacy
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Good command of the English language (written and verbal)
  • BBA - Accounting, or a diploma/certificate in Accounting or Bookkeeping required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience in E-commerce (PayPal, Shopify) reconciliations and a manufacturing apparel environment would be an asset
  • ERP Systems experience; NetSuite experience an asset
