BC Women’s Health Foundation is BC’s largest non-profit organization that is dedicated to advancing the full spectrum of women’s health. Our mission is to ensure exemplary healthcare for women and newborn health by providing solution-focused philanthropy that delivers tangible societal impact. We are committed to developing a team where reconciliation, equity, diversity, and inclusion are foundational to who we are and where we are going. When we refer to “women”, we mean women in all their diversity, inclusive of LGBTQ2SAI+ individuals.

Reporting to the Director, Corporate Partnerships, this role is at the heart of how the Foundation connects with the business community to drive meaningful impact. You'll be the relationship-builder and connector. You will be actively identifying, cultivating, and growing partnerships with community and corporate partners whose values align with our funding priorities. From first conversation to long-term stewardship, you'll own the full partner journey: discovering new opportunities, crafting compelling asks, and nurturing relationships that turn one-time supporters into lifelong champions of our mission.

Join our dynamic team as a Partnerships Officer.

· Make an Impact: Support the planning and execution of our Foundation’s signature events, community partnerships, and donor relations events.

· Build Connections: Develop and maintain strategic partnerships between the business community and our Foundation.

Key accountabilities include:

· Contributing to revenue generation by securing in-kind gifts, community partnerships, and sponsorships valued at $10k or more

· Coordinating the Foundation's presence at major community events, partnering with community organizations to support their efforts and maximize fundraising opportunities

· Activating recognition plans for community partners

· Drafting, formatting, reviewing, and editing donor correspondence, including gift agreements, acknowledgements, pledge forms and reminders, invitations, and related materials

· Assisting with the preparation of presentation decks, proposals, stewardship reports, briefing notes, and other donor materials

· Maintaining and updating the donor database (Raiser's Edge), along with electronic files and records, in accordance with organizational policies and processes

· Reviewing prospect lists, offering recommendations, and performing quality control on lists related to event invitations, recognition, and fundraising strategies

· Coordinating expense invoices and preparing monthly expense reports as needed

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Post-secondary education in business or fundraising (or equivalent experience), plus 3+ years in community or corporate partnerships within fundraising
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and event logistics simultaneously
  • Initiative and self-motivation, balanced with strong teamwork
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships internally and externally
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, particularly for event marketing and communications
  • Confidence proactively reaching out to gather information
  • Solid understanding of donor and prospect relations best practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to stay composed under pressure while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Raiser's Edge, Canva, Zoom, Teams, and social media platforms
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends occasionally

What we offer:

· The successful candidate can expect a starting gross annual salary between $55,000 to 70,000 depending on skills, experience, and internal equity.

· Comprehensive health benefits through PHSA (extended health, vision and dental coverage) with premiums paid by employer on day one of the job.

· Eligibility to contribute to the Municipal Pension Plan after three months of employment.

· 4 weeks paid vacation.

· A collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.

· Our work environment is hybrid, offering flexibility with both remote and in-office options. Primary work location (office) is located at 4500 Oak Street, Vancouver. This role is expected to work a minimum of 2-3 days per week from the office in accordance with our Flexible Work Policy.

· Opportunities for professional development and career growth.

· The chance to make a measurable impact on women’s and newborn health.

Apply now and let your passion for supporting women’s and newborn health shine. Join us and be a part of something truly special. Together, we’ll create impact that inspires. Please apply with a cover letter and a resume via indeed posting.

We are committed to employment equity and encourage applications from all qualified candidates. Please note, due to the high volume of applications, only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted. We appreciate your interest in joining the BC Women’s Health Foundation team.
