Position Summary

This is an opportunity to join a leading company in the organic food sector. As a Organic Produce Warehouse Worker, you play a vital role in helping deliver healthy, nutritious food to grocery stores across Ontario.

Job Duties

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment
  • Organize coolers to ensure products are stored properly
  • Rotate inventory and ensure products are labeled according to company policies
  • Pick orders accurately and report any shortages to the office
  • Notify the Warehouse Manager of low inventory levels
  • Stack skids safely and efficiently to maximize cooler space
  • Ice products as required, following standardized procedures

Qualifications & Core Competencies

  • General understanding of food storage procedures
  • Knowledge of produce quality standards (experience with organic products is an asset)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Previous warehouse experience is an asset
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment

Working Conditions

  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and handle loads up to 50 lbs
  • Majority of work performed in a cold-temperature environment
  • Ongoing training and learning opportunities
  • General labour attire required; clothing must be clean and in good condition
  • Supportive, professional, and team-oriented workplace

Compensation

Compensation begins at entry-level and increases based on experience, performance, and positive reviews.

Schedule Requirements

  • Availability required on Sundays (8:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
  • Weekday shifts scheduled between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • One weekday off plus Saturdays off

Please note: This position requires flexibility with shift end times. Although shifts are generally scheduled until 5:00 p.m., the actual end time will vary based on seasonal demands and daily customer order volumes. Some days shifts may end earlier, while on busier days you may be required to work beyond 5:00 p.m.
