- Collaborate with MEP engineers and site management teams to integrate systems seamlessly, address construction challenges, and ensure timely project completion, including commissioning and testing of BOH MEP systems.
- Conduct comprehensive site reviews, integrating base building MEP supply, logistics, waste management, and water treatment into the design process.
- Develop and manage detailed Kitchen and Bar project budgets, negotiate with suppliers and contractors to align costs with allocated funds, and address any budget variances.
- Research and test new kitchen and bar equipment to drive innovation and improve operational efficiency.
- Oversee equipment package estimating, tendering, and installation, managing deficiencies and warranties during and after construction.
- Review and approve construction drawings, ensuring alignment with MEP coordination standards and project specifications.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with kitchen equipment suppliers, leading shop drawing reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with project goals.
- Lead the completion of kitchen designs and installations from feasibility studies to final implementation, maintaining consistent standards across all locations.
- Serve as the internal subject matter expert on kitchen and bar equipment, providing guidance and technical support to facilities and operations teams.
- Regularly visit existing and new build locations across North America to ensure design consistency, quality control, and adherence to BOH, kitchen, and bar standards.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including Project Management, Real Estate, Culinary Development, and Contractors, to ensure the successful implementation of BOH requirements.
- Monitor project schedules and communicate progress with key stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and project success.
