Position: Full Time Tactical Security Guards
Site: Conestoga Mall
City: Kitchener
Job Type: Full Time (24x7 Availability)
Hours: Various Shifts, must be available to work days/afternoons/nights

Special Minimum Requirements:

• Valid Ontario Security License
• Must be available for all shifts (days, afternoons, nights)
• 1-year Tactical Experience required
• Good computer skills (Word, Excel, emails, typing )
• First Aid/CPR Level C
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment
• Customer Service Experience
• Police Foundations would be an asset

Duties:

• Working closely with Mall Management
• Full knowledge of 494, Trespass to Property, and Oxford Customer Service Excellence
• Filing paperwork
• Responsible for coaching and counselling guards
• Ensuring guards are trained on important procedures (fire panel, power-outage, bomb threat, etc)
• Review and respond to emails relating to Security or Security Supervisor
• Adjusting schedules according to operational needs with scheduling software
• Be aware of any procedures or site changes
• Memo book checks
• Review incident reports to ensure all is up to standard
• Review and save important CCTV footage
• Writing reports
• Obtaining statements and collecting information for Incident Reports
• Performing Customer Service-related functions
• Experience with enforcing TPA and situations where Use of Force is required
• Be physically capable of performing the required duties
• Basic knowledge and use of integrated security systems
