iScope Concussion & Pain Clinics is one of British Columbia and Ontario's leading interdisciplinary rehabilitation providers. Our team works together to deliver evidence-based care that empowers patients to recover, return to work, and regain their quality of life.

We're looking for a compassionate and evidence-based Clinical Counsellor to join our growing North Vancouver team. You'll collaborate closely with physicians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, kinesiologists, and other rehabilitation professionals to provide exceptional mental health care that supports each patient's recovery journey.

Your Impact

As a Clinical Counsellor, you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and clinical interviews
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on each client's goals
  • Provide evidence-based psychotherapy using modalities such as CBT, ACT, DBT, EMDR, trauma-informed care, and solution-focused therapy
  • Support clients experiencing concussion, chronic pain, anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustment disorders, and motor vehicle accident injuries
  • Complete treatment plans, progress reports, and insurer documentation (ICBC, WorkSafeBC, etc.)
  • Collaborate closely with our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
  • Educate clients and provide practical tools that promote long-term recovery and resilience
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using our electronic medical record system

What You Bring

We're looking for someone who is collaborative, empathetic, and committed to providing high-quality, client-centered care.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health discipline
  • Registration in good standing with BCACC, CCPA, or another appropriate regulatory body
  • Professional liability insurance
  • Minimum two years of clinical counselling experience
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills

Assets

  • Experience treating concussion, acquired brain injury, chronic pain, trauma, or motor vehicle accident injuries
  • Experience in interdisciplinary rehabilitation
  • Training in CBT, ACT, DBT, EMDR, or other evidence-based therapies
  • Experience preparing insurer reports and treatment plans
  • Experience providing virtual counselling services
