About the Role

PromoChrom Technologies is a fast-growing company specializing in automated laboratory systems. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and organized individual to join our team as a Warehouse, Shipping & Receiving Associate. This position plays a key role in managing day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring that products are shipped and received accurately and efficiently, and maintaining organized inventory to support production and office functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments and materials.
  • Verify accuracy of deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling, documentation, and handling.
  • Arrange domestic and international shipping through carriers (FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.).
  • Maintain and organize warehouse stock, including equipment, supplies, and raw materials.
  • Perform regular inventory counts and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
  • Coordinate with production and office staff to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Track shipments and communicate status updates to internal teams as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and shipping areas.
  • Ensure safe handling of items and compliance with company safety policies.
  • Assist with light office logistics and supply management as needed.
  • Support other warehouse or administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Resident of British Columbia.
  • Secondary school diploma required; post-secondary education is an asset.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, or logistics.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English; Chinese language skills are considered an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs safely.
  • Valid work authorization in Canada.

Preferred Experience

  • Knowledge of packaging standards and shipping documentation.
  • Familiarity with courier and freight systems (FedEx, UPS, DHL, Purolator).
  • Experience maintaining inventory databases and work in ERP systems.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing is an asset.

Work Location

  • On-site at PromoChrom Technologies, Richmond, BC.
  • Applicants must be able to commute reliably or plan to relocate before starting work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
