Award-winning farm to table hospitality group seeking a SERVERS to build our catering & events division. This is a growth role with real autonomy, scale, and long-term opportunity. You will oversee the complete organization of a wide range of events from large scale events

Job Summary
We are looking to hire SEASONAL SERVERS for our events FOH Service Team at KITCHEN FARMACY ($25/hr) and FOH Service Team at CHEEKY DUCK VINEYARD ($17.60 plus tips).

KITCHEN FARMACY is the catering and events division of CHEEKY DUCK VINEYARD in Lakefield Ontario.

We are seeking 3 years minimum experience for these important SERVER roles.

The ideal candidate will possess a unparalleled passion for delivering high-quality hospitality experiences with steadfast attention to micro detail. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise in food preparation, team management, and customer service within a dynamic environment while being fully engaged with our guests.

Above all qualities, we seek incredibly strong personalities to work independently through another amazing season. We have hundreds of events booked into late 2027 all over Central Ontario with KITCHEN FARMACY and CHEEKY DUCK VINEYARD has never been busier.

A valid Ontario Driver's License is required for this position and the ability to travel to a variety of locations plus up to date SMARTSERVE CERTIFICATE & FOOD HANDLER CERTIFICATE .

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems or order pads
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
  • Assist with food preparation and handling as needed to support kitchen staff
  • Ensure all food safety and hygiene protocols are followed diligently
  • Address guest inquiries or concerns professionally to ensure satisfaction
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods

Skills

  • Prior restaurant or food industry experience preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Knowledge of serving techniques, food handling, and food safety standards
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
  • Barista experience or familiarity with beverage preparation is a plus
  • Hospitality background with a focus on guest satisfaction is desirable
