Commissionaires – Northern Alberta Division – is currently sourcing candidates for employment at various position at CFB Cold Lake and surrounding area. The current positions are considered full-time with various start dates.

Applicants with open availability and no restrictions will be given priority consideration however all candidates will be considered. Shift times vary and could be 8, 10 or 12 hours in length depending on schedules and sites.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must have an Alberta Security License or be willing to obtain.
  • Capability to work a full time rotational shift schedule. Shift times, rotation, and hours vary by site
  • Demonstrate English proficiency
  • Ability to handle a dynamic environment
  • Able to obtain a Level 2 Federal Government Security Clearance
  • Represent the Commissionaires with a high level of professionalism and customer service skills, as well as effective communication skills in dealing with clients, emergency personnel, and the public
  • Ability to work under pressure, and make sound decisions in emergency situations
  • Ability to carry out written and verbal instructions including writing comprehensive reports (in English)
  • Reliable mode of transportation is critical

Essential Job Functions:

  • Capability to work a rotational shift schedule. Shift times, rotation and hours vary by site
  • Writing detailed and accurate reports regarding all incidents
  • Providing a high degree of customer service in a dynamic and challenging environment
  • Ability to de-escalate situations that may arise and liaise with emergency personnel; provide support
  • Capability to complete patrols
