Career Opportunity: Canadian Prenatal Nutrition Coordinator
Location: Vanderhoof, BC
Employment Type: Part-time (25 hours per week)

The Opportunity:
  • Develop and facilitate parent support groups
  • Develop contact list of women who may present with a high- risk pregnancy
  • Organize good food bags/ boxes and deliver to clients or other service organizations
  • Expense tracking (Travel, supplies/Materials)
  • Complete monthly, quarterly and annual reports to required committees and Boards
  • Additional funding proposals; tracking of additional funding and funding report submitted at the end of term
  • Conduct site Visits with the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC)

What You Will Bring to The Role:
  • Certificate Early Child Development, Child and Youth Care, Social Work, or a related field; or
  • DONA International certified Doula, and
  • Other relevant child development courses

Wage Range:
The target hiring range for this position is $28.4238 to $36.8096 per hour. Candidates will typically be hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the wage range. Placement within the wage range is dependent on the applicants’ role specific knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience and in consideration of factors such as market conditions and internal equity.
