As part of a strategic IT transformation program within a leading international Capital Markets institution, CGI supports the modernization and optimization of the Front-to-Back information system across Rates activities.

You will join an international and agile team operating within a critical environment covering the full value chain of Fixed Income products (Front Office, Risk, Back Office, Reporting).

The role is positioned within a data-centric architecture strategy, driven by operational excellence and a strong proximity to business stakeholders, following a “You build it, you run it” model.
As a Senior Business Analyst / Application Support, you will contribute to the evolution, support, and optimization of Front-to-Back trading and booking platforms dedicated to linear Rates products.

You will work within a cross-functional agile team (Business Analysts, Developers, QA, Support) in a highly international environment

Your future duties and responsibilities

Support & Run Activities

  • Provide Level 3 application support to Front Office IRD trading teams
  • Support USD and Cross-Currency desks in incident analysis and resolution
  • Automate and industrialize investigation and monitoring processes
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of system performance and stability
  • Actively participate in the “You build it, you run it” ownership model

Business Analysis & Project Activities

  • Gather and challenge business requirements
  • Design functional IT solutions in collaboration with business and IT teams
  • Produce functional documentation (user stories, specifications, story maps, etc.)
  • Define and execute functional test strategies
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Support the implementation of new products and new pricing curves
  • Occasionally contribute to small enhancement projects as a Business Analyst
  • Functional Environment
  • Products: Swaps, Cross-Currency, linear Rates products
  • Domains: Pricing (yield curve models), Risk, booking, trade lifecycle
  • Workflow: Clearing, trade execution, lifecycle events, confirmation platforms

Capital Markets regulatory environment

Front Office booking systems (e.g., Orchestrade, Summit, Murex, Sophis, Calypso or equivalent)

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Financial Engineering, or IT with strong Capital Markets exposure
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in application support within a Rates environment
  • Strong understanding of:Yield curve construction and pricing models, Risk metrics and valuation concepts, End-to-end trade lifecycle workflows
  • Experience working in Agile environments
  • Ability to manage cross-team dependencies (Agile and non-Agile)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment
  • Team-oriented, autonomous, and strong time management skills

CGI provides a reasonable salary range estimate for this position. The calculation of this range depends on various factors, including skill level, geographic market, experience, education, and professional licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions are made on a case-by-case basis. A reasonable salary range estimate is between $50,000 and $100,000. This position is currently vacant.
