Guidewire Consultant

Job Summary

As a Guidewire Consultant, you will deliver complex Guidewire implementation and transformation programs for leading P&C insurers across the US and Canada. You will work closely with clients to design, implement, and optimize solutions that support core insurance operations.

At Sollers, Consultants take an active role across the full engagement lifecycle – from shaping proposals and defining requirements to implementation and delivery. You will work directly with senior stakeholders, gain exposure to strategic initiatives, and take real ownership of your workstream and solution outcomes.

This role combines Guidewire platform expertise, business analysis, and client advisory, providing a strong foundation for growth into advisory and leadership responsibilities.

About the role. You will:

Project & Delivery

  • Lead functional workstreams within Guidewire implementation projects, taking ownership for solution design, delivery, and coordination of a small project team.
  • Facilitate client workshops, define functional solutions, and drive solution decisions together with business and technical teams.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable Guidewire solutions.
  • Challenge client requirements, recommend best practices, and act as a trusted advisor throughout the project by recommending Guidewire best practices.

Client & Advisory

  • Build long-term client relationships through trusted advisory and high-quality delivery.
  • Facilitate client workshops, present solution recommendations, and support proposal preparation.
  • Support pre-sales activities and identify opportunities to expand existing client engagements.

About the requirements. You need:

  • 3+ years of experience in consulting or IT delivery within the US/Canada P&C insurance market.
  • Hands-on functional experience delivering Guidewire implementation projects (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter or ClaimCenter preferred).
  • Strong understanding of P&C insurance operating models and core processes
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in business analysis, functional solution design, and translating business requirements into Guidewire solutions.
  • Excellent communication and workshop facilitation skills with the ability to build trusted client relationships.
  • Experience leading functional workstreams or coordinating small project teams is an advantage.
  • Strong ownership, proactive mindset, and willingness to take on new challenges.

About the compensation. We can offer:

Base salary range: $100,000 – $190,000 CAD annually.

Final compensation may vary based on experience, education, and geographic location.

The responsibilities outlined above describe the role and its scope. The formal internal title will align with Sollers’ global Consulting career framework and be determined based on experience and level of responsibility.

About our promises. We can offer:

  • A chance to be promoted twice a year and a clearly defined career path with salary forecast.
  • Opportunities for growth with a training budget that you can use for courses and conferences. We also provide access to an online training platform.
  • An internal coach to guide you through the onboarding, further training and career opportunities, plus a budget to be used for your lunches together.
  • A chance to #domore for the planet and the community as part of Sollers Change Makers – our volunteering program.
  • Lots of teambuilding activities, trips, hobby groups and cultural events to create a company powered by teamwork.
