Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Proposal Writer - Public Sector in the Staffing Services in a hybrid work environment in Ottawa, Ontario.
Join our Federal Government team as a Proposal Writer, where you'll develop tailored, high-quality submissions for public sector clients. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to collaborate across departments, interpret complex procurement documents, and contribute to strategic, deadline-driven proposals.

How you will make an impact:
  • Develop tailored proposals that meet public sector procurement standards
  • Interpret RFP, RFS, and VOR documents to align responses with procurement requirements
  • Analyze client feedback and evaluations to strengthen proposal strategy
  • Conduct gap analysis to identify missing qualifications or content
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather candidate and project data
  • Verify candidate qualifications including technical skills and security clearances
  • Apply matrix response models and editing tools to ensure clarity and compliance
  • Maintain proposal templates, content libraries, and accurate ATS/CRM records

You bring:
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience writing proposals for the public sector
  • Formal education in Communications, Technical Writing or related field
  • Public Sector experience is preferred
  • Recruitment industry experience is highly beneficial
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use matrix response models
  • Familiarity with RFP, RFS, VOR and government procurement terminology
  • Collaborative mindset with a focus on accountability and results
  • Proficiency in MS Office and editing tools
