Full job description

This is not your typical recruiter role.

If you thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy variety in your day, and are driven by results, this could be the opportunity for you. With 98% of our workforce operating remotely across Canada on rotational schedules, this role requires someone adaptable, organized, and ready to take on a challenge, especially during our busy winter season.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and executing recruitment strategies to attract top talent
  • Sourcing candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and referrals
  • Screening resumes and conducting phone and in-person interviews
  • Recommending top candidates to hiring managers
  • Managing the entire hiring process from start to finish: Writing job postings, Scheduling interviews, Coordinating hiring decisions, Extending offers.
  • Building strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their needs
  • Working closely with the HR team to improve processes and efficiency
  • Ensuring compliance with employment laws and hiring best practices
  • Supporting other recruitment and HR-related tasks as needed

What You Bring

  • Proven experience in recruitment or talent acquisition
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Experience supporting remote or rotational workforces is a strong asset
  • Specific experience with 'Manpower'/surge labour recruitment and/or temporary trades and labourers is necessary
  • Ideally an understanding of FIFO mining work.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • No two days are the same. This is a dynamic, hands-on role
  • You’ll work with teams across Canada, not just one location
  • You’ll have real impact on hiring and workforce success
  • Enjoy working from our sunny Osoyoos office
  • You will be specifically supporting surge labour contracts for our biggest client to build a winter ice road in the Arctic
  • You will also be supporting our aviation division.

If you’re ready for a role that challenges you and keeps you on your toes, we’d love to hear from you.
