Are you passionate about finding exceptional talent and helping high-performing teams thrive?

We're looking for an experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead talent acquisition efforts across our growing organization. Supporting 15 locations throughout Western Canada and Washington State, this position will serve as a key partner to leadership in attracting, hiring, and retaining exceptional talent.

While the role has a Western Canada mandate, Chilliwack, BC is preferred as the primary work location. This is not a remote position, we believe the most successful recruiters are connected to the business, visible to leaders, and engaged with employees. For an outstanding candidate, consideration may be given to another Delta Water Products location.

If you're energized by the challenge of identifying A-players, experienced in building talent pipelines, strengthening employer brands, and influencing business growth, we want to hear from you.

About Us

Delta Water Products has been delivering innovative water solutions for over 40 years and is recognized as one of Western Canada's leading suppliers of waterworks, irrigation, pumps, and water-equipment specialties. Through our Agriculture, Pump & Motor, and Wildfire teams, we serve a diverse customer base across commercial, municipal, industrial, agricultural, irrigation, and wildfire response markets, helping protect infrastructure, support food production, and safeguard communities.

With 15 locations across BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario and Washington State, we're continuing to grow and invest in our people, our customers, and our future.

Our success is driven by our people. We believe great businesses are built by great teams, and we're looking for someone who shares that belief and has the expertise to help us attract, hire, and support exceptional talent across our organization.

What You'll Do

As our Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will own and lead the recruitment function across the company, partnering directly with department leaders and senior executives to ensure we have the right people in the right roles at the right time.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing full-cycle recruitment across all departments and levels, from frontline employees to professional and management positions
  • Developing creative sourcing strategies and proactively engaging passive candidates
  • Screening candidates, coordinating interviews, facilitating selection processes, and negotiating offers
  • Partnering with department leaders to forecast hiring needs and develop strategic recruitment plans
  • Building and elevating our employer brand through recruiting marketing, career page initiatives, LinkedIn presence, and job board strategy
  • Managing and optimizing our Applicant Tracking and recruitment metrics including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness and recruitment reporting and analytics
  • Managing relationships and contracts with external recruitment vendors, staffing agencies, background check providers, and job boards
  • Developing standardized, fair, and defensible interview and selection processes
  • Advising leaders on compensation benchmarking and offer structures to ensure consistency and competitiveness across the organization
  • Supporting and mentoring junior recruiting assistance when applicable

What You Bring

We're looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

You are:

  • An experienced recruiter with a proven track record of finding top talent
  • Skilled at sourcing and engaging passive candidates
  • Well-versed in employment legislation, recruitment compliance, and hiring best practices across Western Canada and Washington State
  • Comfortable recruiting across multiple departments and levels simultaneously
  • Data-driven and able to leverage recruiting metrics to improve outcomes
  • An effective relationship builder
  • Highly organized, resourceful, and proactive
  • Passionate about creating exceptional candidate experiences
  • Excited to contribute to a growing organization and help shape its future workforce

Why Join Us?

This is more than a recruiting role. It's an opportunity to become a key strategic partner in a growing company where your work directly influences organizational success.

We Offer:

  • Competitive salary starting from $95,000 annually based on relevant experience
  • Comprehensive benefits package
  • RRSP matching program
  • Paid vacation
  • Monday to Friday schedule
  • Full-time, in-office position
  • Opportunity to make a significant impact in a growing organization
  • Collaborative leadership team that values people and performance
