Overview

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair.
  • Oversee daily store operations, ensuring efficient workflow and excellent customer service.
  • Supervise team members, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a positive work environment.
  • Manage cash handling procedures using POS systems such as TouchBistro accurately and responsibly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with health regulations.
  • Assist with food preparation and food handling tasks to ensure quality and freshness.
  • Handle cashiering duties including processing transactions, giving correct change, and balancing registers.
  • Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and placing orders when necessary.

Skills

  • Proven experience as a barista (minimum 4 years) with strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage presentation.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience in the food industry is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele.
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory calculations.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices, proper food handling procedures, and health regulations.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
