The Data Insights Analyst transforms organizational data into clear, actionable insights that support evidence-based decision-making and directly improve services for youth, adults, and families in Ranch Ehrlo’s programs. By analyzing trends, building and maintaining user-friendly dashboards, and standardizing reporting, this role ensures leaders and program teams have the information they need to enhance outcomes, allocate resources wisely, and continually strengthen care.
Working closely with programs, leadership, and IT, the position improves data quality and use, supports program reviews and strategic planning, and advances operational efficiency and impact - so that every insight helps Ranch Ehrlo deliver more effective, responsive, and accountable services to the people we serve.
Education & Professional Certification
- Master’s degree in Applied Social Psychology, Experimental & Applied Psychology, or a closely related field, with strong training in data analysis, statistics, and research methods.
- Micro-credentials in data visualization, data analytics, or programming (e.g., Power BI) are a strong asset.
Experience
- 1 to 3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or program evaluation, including designing and maintaining dashboards and reports; working with multiple data sources; and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience standardizing reports or contributing to data governance is an asset.
Skills and Characteristics
- Strong analytical skills; proficient with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau or similar).
- Skilled in data cleaning, validation, and transforming data into clear visuals and reports.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to translate complex data for non-technical audiences.
- Strong relationship-building and service orientation.
- Highly organized; strong time management and prioritization.
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Curious, growth-minded, adaptable, collaborative, intellectually humble, and solution-focused.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret program and organizational data to inform decisions.
- Design, build, and maintain standardized dashboards and reports.
- Ensure data quality and support data governance practices.
- Respond to ad hoc data and analysis requests.
- Recommend and implement improvements to reporting processes and tools.
- Support program reviews and strategic initiatives with evidence-based insights.
- Sets and promotes standards and best practices for reporting and visualization.
- Provides coaching and training to teams and leaders on using data and dashboards.
- Influences decision-making by presenting clear, credible insights.
- Plans and coordinates daily, weekly, monthly, and annual data and reporting activities.
- Prioritizes and manages multiple data requests and projects.
- Facilitates the development of organization-wide reporting frameworks in consultation with program leaders, IT, and senior leadership.
- Other duties as required.
The successful candidate is responsible for completing all mandatory training requirements for the position as per agency policy and guidelines. The successful candidate must hold a class five (5) novice two (2) or higher drivers license and be eligible for coverage under our commercial auto insurance policy. Salary range: $79,851.20 to $103,209.59 annually (based on 80 hours per 2‑week pay period). Starting salary is dependent on experience.
