Reports into: Maintenance Manager

Employment type: Seasonal Hourly, up to 40 hours per week

Compensation: $24 - $26 per hour

The Opportunity

We are looking for a General Labourer to join our maintenance team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in site preparation, including clearing debris, loading/unloading materials, and setting up equipment
  • Operate forklifts to transport materials around the site safely and efficiently
  • Safely operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and machinery as needed
  • Support skilled tradespeople (mechanics, carpenters, etc.) with tasks as required
  • Drive company vehicles to transport materials, tools, and crew to and from job sites
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the job site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations
  • Perform other general labor tasks as assigned by supervisors
  • Physical endurance being able to lift 50 lbs. at a time

The ideal candidate has:

· Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record

· Forklift operation certification and experience

· Ability to lift 50Lbs

· Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment

· Reliable, punctual and committed to safety
