Location: Grey-Bruce Area
Position Type: Full-Time
Work Setting: On-Site Clinical Leadership Role
Build a Modern Community Healthcare Program
We are seeking a full-time Clinical Lead Nurse to help lead and expand a growing Medical Foot Care Program serving the Grey-Bruce region.
This is an opportunity to step outside the traditional hospital environment and become part of a modern, community-focused healthcare initiative centered around senior care, prevention, diabetic foot health, and professional clinical standards.
We are building a structured, nurse-led healthcare program with professional sterilization systems, proper clinical workflows, high standards for infection prevention, and long-term expansion plans across multiple locations.
We already have the infrastructure, physical locations, equipment, and growing client demand. We are now looking for the right nurse to help lead the clinical side of the operation.
The Role
As the Clinical Lead Nurse, you will play a major role in establishing and maintaining safe, high-quality patient care within the program.
Responsibilities may include:
- Performing patient assessments and identifying higher-risk conditions including diabetic complications, neuropathy, circulation concerns, wounds, infection risks, and mobility limitations
- Developing individualized care plans and maintaining professional clinical documentation
- Providing foot care services within your nursing scope of practice
- Assisting with development of policies, procedures, clinical workflows, and infection prevention standards
- Supporting safe referral pathways to physicians, wound care teams, chiropodists, and other healthcare professionals when appropriate
- Supporting and mentoring clinical support staff within appropriate clinical boundaries
- Overseeing sterilization and instrument reprocessing standards using a Class B autoclave system
- Helping build a professional, respectful, and patient-centered clinical environment
Why This Role Is DifferentLeave Behind Hospital Burnout
This position offers an alternative to high-pressure hospital environments. There are no overnight shifts, emergency codes, or chaotic inpatient workloads.
Leadership and Autonomy
You will have meaningful input in shaping systems, standards, and workflows as the program grows.
Stable Full-Time Opportunity
We are looking for a nurse interested in becoming a long-term part of the program as we continue expanding throughout the Grey-Bruce area.
Professional Environment
We are committed to maintaining a structured, clinically responsible, and respectful healthcare setting focused on patient safety and quality care.
Growth Opportunity
As the program develops, there may be opportunities for additional leadership responsibilities and clinic expansion involvement.
Qualifications
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (RPN or RN)
- Strong professionalism and understanding of safe nursing practice
- Interest in senior care, preventive health, diabetic foot care, or community healthcare
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while exercising sound clinical judgment
- Physical presence within the Grey-Bruce area
Foot care experience is considered an asset, but we are open to supporting the right candidate with additional training and certification opportunities.
Ideal Candidate
This role may be a great fit for a nurse who:
- Wants to transition away from hospital burnout
- Enjoys patient relationships and community healthcare
- Has leadership potential and initiative
- Wants to help build a modern healthcare program from the ground up
- Values professionalism, structure, and high clinical standards
New graduates are welcome to apply if they demonstrate professionalism, maturity, strong work ethic, and leadership potential.
Our goal is to build a trusted, accessible, and clinically responsible healthcare service that improves foot health outcomes for seniors and vulnerable populations throughout the Grey-Bruce region.
Pay: $45.00 per hour
Benefits:
- On-site parking
Work Location: In person
