Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pizza and Shawarma Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious pizzas and shawarma, ensuring high-quality food service, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic food industry setting, delivering exceptional dining experiences to our customers.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas and shawarma according to established recipes and customer specifications
  • Handle food preparation tasks including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
  • Ensure all food is cooked to the highest standards of quality and safety
  • Maintain proper food handling procedures in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Serve dishes promptly and accurately to customers or servers
  • Assist in food presentation and garnishing to enhance visual appeal
  • Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and organized throughout the shift
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines during food preparation and service
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within a restaurant or food service environment
  • Strong knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards
  • Ability to prepare meals efficiently while maintaining quality standards
  • Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Familiarity with the food industry’s best practices for meal preparation and presentation
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
  • Experience with pizza making techniques and shawarma preparation is preferred but not required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
