Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented prep / line cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in keeping the kitchen rolling by knocking down prep lists and rocking the line

This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food handling, cooking, and restaurant operations within a fast-paced food service environment.

Duties

  • Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and standards
  • Handle food safely and maintain proper sanitation throughout the kitchen
  • Assist with cooking tasks, including assembling dishes and plating food items
  • Support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness and organization of workstations
  • Ensure all food is prepared efficiently to meet service times
  • Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times
  • Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed
  • Contribute to a positive dining experience by maintaining a clean and welcoming environment

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
  • Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills and reliability
  • Prior experience with serving or hospitality is a plus but not required
  • Food safe level 1
