Room Attendant – Clarion Hotel & Conference Centre

Location: Off Whatcom exit, Abbotsford, BC - North Parallel Rd.
Department: Housekeeping
Position Type: Casual - Float
Availability: Weekdays and weekends - Nights 10-6:30. Some days.

Key Responsibilities

As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms and public areas. Your duties will include:

  • Thoroughly cleaning assigned guest rooms and suites to hotel standards
  • Stripping beds and collecting linens for laundering
  • Ensuring hallways and work areas are clear and safe
  • Removing room service trays and disposing of waste and recyclables appropriately
  • Sorting, washing, drying, and folding hotel linens and towels
  • Monitoring and reporting inventory levels of supplies and linens
  • Performing special cleaning tasks as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in storage and supply areas
  • Providing friendly, professional service to guests at all times
  • Assisting with miscellaneous housekeeping tasks as needed
  • Nights - Cleaning the Restaurant
  • Laundry sorting
  • Cleaning of public areas.
