Overview

RUDY is now hiring Supervisors for the White Oaks Mall, London location.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant and hospitality experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising staff, managing food preparation and safety standards, and ensuring smooth restaurant operations. Previous experience with food handling, POS systems such as Toast, and team management is essential. A background in hotel or barista experience is a plus. The Food Service Supervisor will play a key role in maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

What you will do:

  • Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to safety protocols
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and serving processes to maintain quality standards
  • Manage POS transactions using POS systems, including cash handling and billing procedures
  • Lead, train, and motivate team members to deliver excellent customer service
  • Conduct interviews and assist with hiring new staff to build a competent team
  • Monitor food safety compliance and ensure proper food handling practices are followed
  • Coordinate kitchen activities with front-of-house staff to optimize workflow
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with health regulations
  • Assist in restaurant management tasks such as inventory control, scheduling, and reporting

Who you are:

  • Proven supervising experience within the food service or restaurant industry
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
  • Experience with POS systems, particularly Toast POS preferred
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
  • Background in restaurant management or hotel experience is advantageous
  • Knowledge of food handling regulations and safety protocols
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Previous experience with food industry operations including serving, barista work, or kitchen experience is desirable
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interview and onboard new staff effectively
